How far is the beach from Casa Aventura? It Depends.

One of the most common questions we’re asked is “How far are you from the beach?”

Surprisingly, there are two ways to answer that.

The short answer is were about a five minute walk down the street to Conchas Chinas Beach. But we also like to say we’re a five minute ride back.

Why is that?

Well, the same reason that Casa Aventura has what has been described as one of the best natural views of Banderas Bay, Los Arcos and Yelapa is what makes the walk to the beach so quick and easy – it’s perched on a hillside making for a steep slope.

We find walking down the hill with the kids is part of the fun and anticipation of getting to the beach and corralling some young energy before the hit the water.

But that same steep slope makes for a tiring haul back up – no one enjoys a stair master workout carrying wet towels after swimming in the ocean. At least not anyone we know!

We find catching a cab down by the beach ends up being the best $5 investment we can make and are happy to pay it.
