Saint Michael’s Sword. It’s an image that has evoked passion throughout the ages – the defender of righteousness, the battle between good and evil, the call to armies gathered for war as defenders of the faith.
The imagery of Saint Michael is found throughout the villa but no more so than in this room, majestically named after the blade of the warrior Saint.
A majestic headboard frames a giant antique image of the warrior Saint standing triumphantly over the world with the Latin phrase “Who is like God?” dating from a century ago when in the 1920’s it adorned a hacienda in Guadalajara.
